What Do You Like About Your Church????

My family and I love the church we are at now. Kerrville Church of Christ is wonderful. Why? The people are extremely friendly, caring and loving. The elders take care of the flock. The worship experiences on Sunday mornings are powerful, moving and spirit filled. It is wonderful now to be able to sit with my family on Sunday mornings and get fed myself. It is great being apart of a small group that meets and prays together. I am looking forward to the ministry fair coming up in a few weeks to see where I can get involved and make a difference.

So, what is it that you like about the church you are at now? What would you change? What are you doing to make a difference at the church you are at now? What can you do? What will you do?

What do you think?

This church (Mayfair CoC in OKC) is the first church i've been apart of, not because of great sermons or doctrinal nuances or sunday mornings, but because of having an intimate community. the same people i sit next to on sunday morning are the same people i generally hang out with any other day during the week. And they've all helped me survive the past three years of my life through some of the worst times of my life. Now that i've experienced that, i've decided that no skilled preacher or song-leader could ever replace it or compensate its loss.

I am a member of Downtown Church of Christ and we are about the sing "Be With Me Lord" at our regional singing in Topeka, KS. on the weekend of October 10th. I saw your comment and I knew that you were my brother! God bless.

Our church (Southwest CoC in Omaha) is awesome!
Why?
The diversity of people. We have some very weird people, and that makes us a strong family! I love meeting different people because of our diversity.
Our giving spirit. Our family has come through so many times when we have asked for help. If anyone needs financial, emotional or other kinds of help, our members are quick to come through. It is a passion to help others!
Our joy!! There are people who LOVE JESUS here, and they are not afraid to let you know it!
I LOVE our minister and staff and shepherds. They are all amazing, and create a sense of unity.

I enjoyed the ministry fair that we had at our Church recently. It allowed believers to choose where they wanted to serve, get involved. It is great to see people serving others in the church and community.

I love the worship experiences that our church has every Sunday. Dynamic preaching with life application. Priase and worship. Caring elders that pray over people in need. Yesterday our worship went 1 hour and 1/2 with numerous responses including baptisms. It is not shocking that a Sunday goes by where someone isn't baptized and a baby is dedicated to God. It is wonderful to be apart of a group of believers that are the most authentic that I have seen in my years as a Christian. We are a healthy, growing group of believers.
